My parents may not be the ideal parents by society’s standards, but to me, they are more than enough. They are the best parents I could ever ask for, and if given the choice, I would choose them over and over again in every lifetime.

My mother, a housewife, poured her energy into building a home that was more than just four walls. She filled it with warmth, comfort, and love. She didn’t need grand gestures to show how much she cared. Her quiet sacrifices—the meals she prepared, the clothes she mended, and the times she stayed up late waiting for me—spoke louder than words ever could.

My father, a warehouse storekeeper, worked tirelessly to keep food on the table. He carried heavy loads not just at work but also in life, shouldering responsibilities without complaint. I remember the way he’d come home tired but still managed to smile and ask about my day. His strength wasn’t just in his physical work but in his ability to remain steadfast during hard times.

Together, they gave me experiences that money could never buy. They showed me what it means to give selflessly and love unconditionally. I think back to the days when we didn’t have much—no fancy vacations or extravagant toys—but I never felt poor. Instead, I felt rich in their love and care.

Their sacrifices have shaped me in ways I’m still discovering. They’ve taught me the value of resilience, humility, and gratitude. Whenever I face challenges, I think of their struggles and the way they faced life head-on. It gives me the strength to keep going, no matter how hard the road gets.

Today, I carry their lessons with me like invisible treasures—reminders of their sacrifices, their love, and their unwavering support. They may not have been perfect, but they were perfect for me. And if I could live a thousand lives, I would choose them as my parents every single time.
